This covers two things: the One Off Endeavors website, and Gay Deceiver — the AI co-host who reads chat and talks back during live streams. Same person runs both (hi, that's me), same principle behind both: I collect as little as I can get away with, I don't sell any of it, and I'd rather over-explain than leave you guessing.

The short version

  • Gay reads public live-chat messages while a stream is live — the same lines everyone in chat already sees.
  • She uses them to decide whether and how to reply, and to remember the conversation you're having with her.
  • She posts her replies as the Gay Deceiver channel — a clearly labeled bot, never pretending to be a person.
  • No selling, no ads, no cross-site tracking, no scraping. Official APIs only.

What Gay reads, and why

When you type in a live chat where Gay is a co-host, the streaming platform's official API hands her the public parts of that message: your display name, your channel or user ID, the text you wrote, any badges (moderator, member, subscriber), and the amount of a Super Chat or cheer if you sent one. This is the information the platform already shows to everyone watching — she isn't reaching for anything private.

She uses it for exactly one job: being a decent co-host. That means deciding whether a line is aimed at her, keeping enough recent context to hold a coherent back-and-forth, and — if the host has vouched for you or you've supported the stream — knowing she's allowed to answer you. Super Chat and cheer amounts feed the same "should I respond" decision; they buy a reply, not your data.

What's stored, and for how long

Live chat is fleeting by nature and I keep it that way. Recent messages sit in a short rolling memory so Gay doesn't forget what was said two lines ago. Finished exchanges — what was said to her and what she said back — are also kept as her episodic memory, so she can recall an earlier conversation the way a regular co-host would ("didn't you ask about that regulator last week?"). That memory lives on my own private servers, is never exposed publicly, and is never handed to anyone else.

What I don't do

I don't sell or rent your data. I don't run ad networks or third-party trackers on you. Gay doesn't scrape — she only ever reads chat through the platforms' official, sanctioned APIs. And she doesn't manufacture engagement: she replies when she's triggered and rate-limits herself, so she isn't spamming chat to look busy.

Gay's YouTube side, specifically

On YouTube, Gay Deceiver uses YouTube API Services. By interacting with her there, you're also covered by the YouTube Terms of Service, and any data Google handles in the process is subject to the Google Privacy Policy.

You stay in control on Google's side: you can review and revoke this app's access at any time from your Google security settings. Gay authenticates to YouTube as her own brand channel; that credential lets her read chat and post as herself, and nothing more.

Kids

This is a general-audience maker channel and it isn't directed at children under 13. I don't knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child's information reached me, get in touch and I'll remove it.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, I'll update the date at the top and, for anything significant, say so on the stream or in the Discord. Continuing to use the site or chat with Gay after a change means you're okay with the current version.
